There are 4 levels of Partner Membership:

Registered Partner

As a Registered Partner the VMware Partner Program enables you to extend your company’s market reach, build customer credibility, and develop your skills with free online training required to move to the Professional level. Registration is simple and there is no program fee.

Professional Partner Level

By completing the free online training, partners receive additional support in building their virtualization businesses such as, access to the entire product line and a listing in the VMware Partner Locator.  See the Partner table above for requirements.

Enterprise Partner Level

Enterprise partners demonstrate extensive expertise in working with VMware technologies by earning their Infrastructure Virtualization Competency. Depending on partner type, partners may earn all the financial incentives under the advantage+ opportunity registration program, access to additional services IP, and extensive support in building their VMware virtualization solutions.  See the Partner table above for requirements.

Premier Partner Level

Premier members are our most qualified partners and have earned the highest level of membership. They gain the most extensive financial benefits, have access to prevalent resources in building a successful VMware virtualization license and service practice, and have the opportunity to work closely with a dedicated VMware account manager.  See the Partner table above for requirements.
